If the Username you entered is correct, a Password Reset link will be sent to the current email address contained in your profile. If you do not receive the password reset link within 10 minutes, verify that you entered the correct username and be sure to check your junk mailbox. Also, be sure to white list maa-usa.org in your email client.
IMPORTAN NOTE REGARDING PASSWORD RESET LINKS:
If a link in an email from MAA is not working or you get a “link has expired” message, the cause is most likely your email client changing the reset link's URL in your browser by adding the parameter "amp;" in the link.
Example:
https://www.maa-usa.org/Membership/Member-Login?ctl=PasswordReset&resetToken=860f608b-e897-4357-828e-c06ab0b8d7c1
Solution:
You can correct this problem by deleting the four characters "amp;" from the URL in your browser’s address bar and then refreshing your web browser.
If you don't receive an email with a reset link, it is most likely that you have entered an incorrect username, your email address has changed and you did not update your member profile or your firewall solution is blocking our emails (especially if you are using Barracuda). To resolve the issue, contact your IT department and ask then to update thier firewall settings to allow email from the "maa-usa.org" domain.
If you continue to experience problems with your log-in, please contact the MAA Webmaster.
