MAA Affiliate Organizations

The MAA is committed to fostering a stronger, more collaborative environment with our affiliated organizations.

MAA Affiliate Organizations

Upon a two-thirds (2/3) majority vote of the Board of Directors, the Association may grant affiliate status to other associations or organizations organized and dedicated to improving assessment administration in the State of Michigan. Those organizations or associations seeking to gain affiliate status with this Association shall petition the Board of Directors as outlined in this Association’s Policy and Procedures Manual.

As a professional organization, the Michigan Assessors Association recognizes the value of collaboration and the importance of expanding one’s network. Membership in professional associations serves as a powerful means for assessors to build relationships with colleagues, share knowledge, and strengthen their professional capabilities. The resources and connections made possible through these associations are invaluable assets for any member. While regional and local organizations offer significant networking opportunities, they often limit members to a more localized professional network. By expanding your network through affiliation with the MAA, your organization gains access to a broader range of professionals, resources, and opportunities, significantly enhancing the professional development of your members.

The combined representation and voice of MAA and its Affiliates is approximately 3,400 members.
