REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Michigan Assessors Association (MAA) is seeking proposals for a Website Administrator for a 2-year agreement, commencing January 1, 2026. The Contractor shall provide all Website Administrator Services deemed necessary by the MAA Board of Directors to ensure that the MAA Website is maintained, updated, and improved, in professional quality and manner, with relevant content to the Association members, and with efficiency.
The nature of duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Provide for the maintenance of general website content, including but not limited to, selecting, editing and placement of articles, maintaining Board of Directors and committee content, sales lead database, annual summer conference content and annual continuing education content.
- Prepare and initiate MAA email alerts as required and periodical email notifications to the Association membership.
- Timely distribute the electronic copy of “The Michigan Assessor” magazine to the MAA membership.
- Timely distribute electronic course materials to students registered for MAA classes and conference.
- Distribute post continuing education certificates of completion following educational sessions.
- Assist with the development and distribution of electronic surveys.
- Provide technical assistance to facilitate monthly virtual meetings of the MAA Executive Board.
- Post MAA Board of Director meeting agenda to the website for member review within 48 hours of receipt of said agenda.
- Consult and assist the Association’s Website Service Provider with customized site content, including, but not limited to, database development and content tool enhancements.
- Update and maintain the Calendar of Events on the website. The Contractor shall communicate with the Board of Directors, Committee Chairpersons and Affiliate Associations to update said calendar.
- Provide support to Association members who use and access the Association webpage.
- Review all invoices pertaining to the Association’s website for accuracy and approve payment by the Association Treasurer.
- Manage all requests for website and email employment opportunity advertising, create website advertisements and invoice customers for all website advertisements.
- The Contractor must attend regularly scheduled MAA Board meetings.
