Secretary

The Michigan Assessors Association is seeking an individual interested in serving as the Secretary. The term will begin in January of 2026.  The Secretary shall be elected to office by vote of the membership and only people who have previously served a minimum of two (2) years as a District Representative on the Board of Directors shall be eligible to serve as Secretary. Responsibilities
Secretary: The Secretary shall serve as the Chief Clerk of this Association, retain all official documents and contracts, prepare a monthly business agenda, and compile and distribute all meeting material and documents in support of each agenda to this Associations Executive Board. The Secretary shall also serve as the recording secretary at all meetings of the Executive Board and this Association’s annual meeting.
